Essential Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Performance Reporting Management

  • Generate and continue to evolve balanced scorecards and monthly management reports
  • Manage ad hoc report request process to ensure needs are addressed timely and with high quality
  • Proactively identify reporting needs/opportunities and collaborate cross-functionally to address them
  • Provide written and verbal updates/report to key stakeholders as needed
  • Oversee timelines related to improvement projects
  • Super-user of internal Celgene reporting platform
  • Lead or support cross-functional teams with improvement projects

    Workforce Planning and Management

  • Lead workforce planning and management: e.g. annual planning, resource request evaluation, workforce demand analysis
  • Develop forecasts using available workload demand and resource supply data to proactively inform and provide recommendations to senior leadership about upcoming needs and potential resource surpluses or shortfalls
  • Partner with GCRDO leadership to deliver analysis and provide recommendations as needed to support function-specific staffing needs
  • Maintain workforce data and metrics (e.g. FTEs, contractors, consultants) for use in analysis and reporting
  • Maintain organizational KPIs around workforce and report them to leadership
  • Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor degree with 8 - 12 years of experience in clinical operations study and program oversight
  • Experience developing metrics and management-level dashboards
  • Experience in Clinical Development and working with global, cross-functional project teams and leadership
  • Strong oral, written, and verbal communication skills
  • Cross-functional experience, particularly with global business units
  • Sufficient technical knowledge and experience to be able to communicate effectively with the multiple organizations within the company
  • Self-starter; self-motivator, willing to do what it takes to get the job done.
  • Ability to compile and analyze data and effectively report problems through written and/or graphical formats
  • Excellent decision-making skills and business judgment
  • Strong organization skills, ability to prioritize in the face of multiple project demands focus on critical details.
  • Advanced knowledge in the MS Office suite of applications, especially Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint required.
  • Preferred Qualifications:
  • 12+ years of program and portfolio oversight reporting experience in the pharmaceutical/biotech industry
  • Masters degree in business or equivalent preferred
  • Experience developing dashboards and visualizations in BI tools (Tableau, Qlikview)
  • Strong interpersonal leadership skills and ability to commit, influence, motivate and successfully manage teams while working in a matrix environment
