The Director, Global Marketing, JCAR 17 CAR T brand strategy lead will be the global CAR T team representative whose primary focus will be to lead global brand strategy development for JCAR 17.  This role will be responsible for JCAR 17 brand strategy activities and will require close collaboration with Global Project Leadership, Clinical Development, Global Medical Affairs, Global Market Access, Global Market Insights and the Lymphoma Commercial team.  This role will be the brand lead with Juno partners.  This role will be Summit based.  The role of Director JCAR 17 CAR-T brand strategy will report directly into the Global Commercial CART Lead.

Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Ensure the successful global brand strategy launch of JCAR 17; developing the brand strategy including positioning, messaging and brand imagery with the global cross functional partners for JCAR 17 CAR T
  • Set assumptions for and validate global sales and resource forecasts
  • Ensure global affiliate integration and collaboration on the JCAR 17 brand strategy
  • Member of the JCAR 17 CAR-T Global Project team
  • Collaborate within the JCAR 17 GPT on pivotal trial design inputs, including creation of TPP for approval, reimbursement and uptake (patient population, endpoints, correlative analysis etc.)
  • Prepare and assist global lead with commercial portion of program updates for governance committees
  • Contribute to development of internal and/or external communication pertaining to CAR-T, as appropriate.
  • Manage consultants/agencies for key projects
  • Communicate the Global Market insights needs and ensure the initiation of market research projects with Global Market Insights
  • Partner with Global Medical Affairs lead on publication planning, IIT, KOL and Med Education strategies uniquely designed for bb2121
  • Partner with Global and regional market access leads to support the development of the value proposition and price and reimbursement strategies.

    Skills/Knowledge Required:

  • At least 7-8 years’ industry experience with 4+ years of oncology marketing/commercialization experience``.
  • Experience in hematology (preferred)/oncology marketing across launch and post launch products
  • Demonstrated track record across a broad range of marketing competencies including clinical trials acumen, product knowledge, therapeutic knowledge, situational analysis, positioning, message and campaign development, and forecasting/financial analysis
  • Demonstrated ability to think strategically and align and engage stakeholders to drive performance
  • Demonstrated initiative, creativity, and adaptability in a complex, rapidly changing environment
  • Ability to lead and motivate cross-functional teams, synthesizing diverse perspectives into cohesive, aligned recommendation/deliverables, managing dissension along the way and championing team recommendation with upper management across functional areas
  • Experience in delivering complex messages to various internal and external customers with a track record of effective and influential presentations
  • Strong project/process management skills and ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks
