Under the direction of the Marketing Director Hematology, this individual will be responsible for the development and execution of multi-channel marketing campaigns (classical and digital) for our current products (REVLIMID, IMNOVID, VIDAZA etc.), our Hematology pipeline and the Hematology business unit in close collaboration with the marketing & medical department as well as Celgene’s Global headquarters.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Develop and implement a multi-channel strategy for Celgene BU Hematology in close cooperation with the Marketing Director, the National Sales Director, the BUD and the Medical team
  • Develop and execute local multi-channel (classical and digital) marketing campaigns for BU Hematology to communicate on strategic topics, in close cooperation with product managers, medical team, and Global headquarters
  • Develop smart and strategic (classical) PR campaigns for our Hematology products and
    -franchises also in association with future launches
  • Design and execute local customer journeys involving offline and online channels with help of a campaign management platform
  • Define KPIs and standards for multi-channel reporting
  • Member of the affiliate Promo- and Diseaseteams, responsible for bringing in the multi-channel (classical and digital) view and -aspects to projects, discussions and decisions
  • Track multi-channel (classical and digital) activities and compile reports on a regular basis to continually optimize multi-channel tactics and tailor tactics to customer needs and wants
  • Interact with external experts from the Hematology field to co-develop new educational concepts
  • Close collaboration and communication with Field Force to coordinate communications to HCPs
  • Management of multi-channel communications budget in close cooperation with product managers and Marketing Director

Skills/Knowledge Required:

  • Strong identification with Celgene’s values
  • University degree
  • Profound professional experience in multi-channel management, classical public relations and marketing communications within the pharmaceutical industry, either in agency and/or a pharmaceutical enterprise
  • Experience and understanding of tracking multi-channel (classical and digital) activities and strong willingness to adapt and learn accordingly (Google Analytics/SEO/print clippings considered as basics).  
  • Profound experience in collaboration with medical journalists (ideally HemOnc), publishing houses and PR agencies and a good network with these parties
  • Experience in classical PR-planning and -execution according to product strategy
  • Profound experience in conducting classical PR activities, e.g. press conferences, PR activities -at congresses, -with KOLs, -for laymen
  • Deep understanding and affinity for offline and online media and their use for innovative communication concepts
  • Strong affinity to marketing and good understanding of marketing concepts
  • Experience in collaboration with patient advocacy groups is a plus
  • Experience in product management and/or sales within the pharmaceutical industry is a plus
  • Profound understanding of campaign management solutions and data analytics is a plus
     
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills with profound experience in writing (e.g. press releases, articles) for print and digital media a must
  • Excellent project management skills, such as planning, prioritization, objective setting, meeting management, and plan execution
  • Excellent analytical skills and ability to turn analyses into actions
  • Fluency in German and English, both oral and in written communications
  • Independent self-starter, accurate and well organized, strong ‘Can Do’ attitude
  • Strong cross-functional collaboration skills
  • Proven team player
  • Strong business acumen and open minded
