General business objective is that he/she, within Celgene (Switzerland), assures the timely and competent provision of product and disease information to the relevant customer group and builds and maintains a fruitful and successful relationship. To accomplish this, he/she has to work on a diversity of tasks, which are listed in a number of job specifications.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Provision of all information related to Celgene products to the customers in order to assure the effective and efficient usage of our products for the benefit of the patients
  • Responsible for the establishing and nurturing of the relationship with the relevant customer group, in hospitals and private office
  • Responsible for the definition and implementation of customer actions plans, achieving agreed sales and strategic objectives
  • Responsible for the definition of customer groups (segmentation/targeting)
  • Responsible for the analysis of sales performance with respect to actual and potential sales as well as competitor performance
  • Close interaction with Marketing & Medical Affairs to plan and implement the most effective account support program
  • Region for the role is Fribourg/Vaud/Valais

Skills / Knowledge Required:

  • Life Sciences at Academic level and strong intellectual skills
  • Ideally 3-5 years of experience in (biotechnology) pharmaceutical industry in sales or marketing positions
  • Strong preference for knowledge and experience in Dermatology, Rheumatology, Gastroenterology or related areas
  • Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills
  • Strong analytical and didactical skills
  • Energetic and driven, but capable of fitting into a small team environment
  • Hands-on and can-do attitude
  • Excellent communicator and collaborator (internally and externally)
  • Open style, pro-active communication and being at ease in different cultures
  • Strong identification to Celgene's Values
  • Language skills: Fluent in French as a MUST, German and English highly desirable
