The position reports to the Associate Director, Compliance Spend Transparency and will support Celgene’s Global Spend Transparency program. The primary responsibility of this individual is to ensure Spend Transparency data is being captured and reported in an accurate, complete, and timely manner in accordance with evolving country Disclosure Codes and Legislation in Europe, Asia and Latin America. 

Position requirements and responsibilities:

Spend Transparency

  • Capture, load and reports containing transfers of value provided to Healthcare Professionals and Organizations to support reporting under various country disclosure codes and spend transparency laws
  • Monitor data collection templates that are being submitted to the Spend Transparency Office according to expected schedule and follow-up with stakeholders as required
  • Generate internal reports such as the Concur expense report and Oracle payment report used in the remediation process
  • Conduct follow-up procedures with internal and external stakeholders on missing information and/or rejected records to ensure timely remediation of transactions
  • Work with the country spend transparency champions and consultants to ensure timely review and updates of interim reporting packages
  • Support the country spend transparency champions with inquiries as they arise
  • Assist with development of various country Spend Transparency reports
  • Assist with projects as required


  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • 3-5 years of experience, preferably in the life sciences industry.
  • Experience with the EFPIA Disclosure Code and European country Spend Transparency laws is strongly preferred
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team to partner effectively with others to address complex compliance and operational issues
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Experienced with MS Excel and PowerPoint
  • Strong organizational skills and possesses attention to detail
  • Ability to prioritize regularly changing workload
