Summary

Under the direction of the associate director, marketing - haematology & oncology, this individual will be responsible for leading the strategic development and implementation of Celgene haematology and oncology products in Poland. The associate product manager will contribute to decisions on the development of business plans and product strategies. She or he is responsible for full compliance to applicable laws and regulations.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Actively contributes to the successful launch preparation and strategic planning for haematological & oncological products.
  • Generates insights from extensive market data/intelligence with strong external focus and incorporates insights and findings into the brand planning process.
  • Determines customers' needs and desires by specifying the research needed to obtain market information.
  • Assesses market competition by comparing the company's product to competitors' products.
  • Obtains product sales goals by working with sales management to develop product sales strategies.
  • Assesses product market data by calling on customers with field salespeople and evaluating sales call results.
  • Provides information for management by preparing short-term and long-term product sales forecasts and special reports and analyses; answering questions and requests.
  • Supports the development, implementation and execution of an impactful brand plan in close cooperation with senior management and international HQ.
  • Leads the development of marketing materials and ensures timely approval of materials in accordance with regulatory requirements.
  • Ensures effective role out of marketing campaigns to the field team through cycle meetings & training sessions, in close cooperation with the sales management & trainers.
  • Constantly seeks feedback and inspires the sales force, is perceived as being a passionate and persuasive brand champion.
  • Tracks implementation and success; develops rapid corrective activities if needed.
  • Supports the development of a long-range forecasting plan together with the marketing management.
  • Manages marketing budgets closely to ensure expenditure is aligned with the brand plan.
  • Cooperate with the medical affairs department to ensure the development of product key elements according with strategy
  • Create and propose digital and multichannel marketing projects that outperform our competitors and increases the efficiency of our commercial strategy

Educational Background

  • BS/BA degree required; biological science degree preferable
  • MBA or advanced degree preferred

Skills/Knowledge Required

  • Minimum 2 years marketing experience in operational and managerial positions within the pharmaceutical, biotechnology or medical industry
  • Haematology/oncology market knowledge
  • Experience in developing promotional material and working with advertising agencies and other vendors essential
  • Digital and multichannel marketing skills
  • Fluent in written and spoken English.
  • Computer literature: Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
