Summary: Independently design, perform and interpret complex experiments to support analytical development objectives. Leads and advances analytical projects to Quality Operations. Facilitates growth of less experienced analytical and QC Ops scientists.  Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following: • Design and execute/implement analytical experiments of significant complexity. • Provide in-depth analysis & interpretation of diverse experimental results. • Facilitate growth of less experienced analytical and QC Ops scientists. Coach level 1 team members. • Provide broader scientific guidance to other departments. • Represent work group on cross functional teams. • Lead meetings across project teams and facilitate team activities. • Assist in achieving milestones with moderate cross-functional impact. • Raise issues; recommend solutions to department management. • Develop cross functional scientific knowledge. • Author technical documents for interdepartmental use. • Ensure proper operation and perform routine maintenance of all laboratory equipment  • Maintain a safe workplace in accordance with company and OSHA policies/procedures #LI-POST Skills/Knowledge Required: • B.S. in Biology or related discipline with 7 or more years of relevant experience or M.S. with 5 or more years of relevant experience • Excellent organization skills and ability to handle multiple tasks of significant complexity. • Highly motivated, drive to acquire new skills. • Independently recognize problems and able to recommend and develop solutions from broad experience, literature or collaboration. • Ability to organize priorities related to own work.
