This role is responsible for supporting the G3M Teams (Medical, Marketing, Market Access) in a project management/operational capacity in helping to develop and operationalize strategic deliverables, driving efficiencies and working to move the overall business forward. She/he will report functionally to the head of project management in Global Marketing, but day to day to the relevant G3M lead(s).

 

The responsibilities of this role include, but are not limited to:

 

Support the Hematology/Oncology G3M Teams in developing and operationalizing disease/franchise and brand/indication strategies:

  • Support the G3Ms in the development and delivery of key strategic deliverables (Franchise Plan, Brand Indication Plan, Tactical/Operational Plans, and Launch Plans) by:

    • Proactively communicating with relevant stakeholders to identify the plan to develop or update strategy and accompanying documents, identifying and tracking key milestones
    • Facilitating the development of strategy and accompanying documents with key cross-functional stakeholders, primarily the G3M core team members
    • Ensuring timely appearance at governance meetings to obtain endorsement for G3M plans
    • Ensuring communication of strategic deliverables to appropriate G3M stakeholders and working to post these materials on our   internal portal
  • In cooperation with G3M Leads, support G3M operations through the following:

    • Facilitating the G3Ms in the annual goal setting process, identifying critical decision points throughout the year and supporting driving those decision points through corporate governance bodies. Facilitating the alignment of brand related goals across indications and with major key stakeholders
    • Developing and maintaining the G3M planning calendars that identify critical decision points, team events and milestones
    • Organizing and facilitating G3M meeting topics/agendas, managing G3M members and meeting attendees based on agreed upon structure, tracking meeting outcomes and follow-up action items
    • In alignment with the overall internal congress preparation flow, ensuring alignment and coordination for all G3M aspects for planning of major and disease specific congresses
    • Acting as the point person and coordinator of slide deck deliverables for G3M teams
  • In cooperation with G3M Leads, Commercial Excellence, Medical Affairs Excellence and Senior G3M Leadership, support the G3Ms in identifying, prioritizing, and executing working group projects and deliverables required for   critical decision making

    • Identify project scope, deliverables, working group members, key milestones and timelines
    • Work with administrative staff to ensure relevant meetings are planned for working groups
    • Maintain high-level timelines, and ensure consistency and detailed timelines with input from the functional departments
    • Develop dashboard reporting consistent across G3Ms to update governance bodies and senior management

 

Support the facilitation of vital communications at all levels of the organization

  • Support our internal portal as the central source of information for all G3M deliverables, Franchise and Brand materials, and general information. Manage content of the portal and ensure information is being communicated to appropriate G3M members and key stakeholders

  • Ensure regular and pro-active communication with other strategy and development teams to ensure coordination of information needs, decision-making, and governance

  • Facilitate cross-functional, cross-regional communication between G3M members and other relevant stakeholders at all levels in the organization

Qualifications

Skills/Competencies required:

  • Exceptional project management skills with ability to multitask and manage multiple small to large projects in a cross-functional, cross-regional, and cross-franchise environment and good understanding of project budgeting process

  • Strong customer focus with the ability to actively listen to customer needs and expectations

  • Manage execution by persistent follow-up and driving results

  • Exceptional computer skills (MS Project, Excel, PowerPoint etc.) and familiarity with managing web-based applications

  • Strong ability to influence outcomes without direct authority and ability to hold oneself and others accountable for commitments

  • Capable of managing meetings within a multicultural environment

  • Demonstrate excellent communication skills and work in a matrix environment with strong team collaboration

  • Basic understanding of business strategy, marketing planning tools and processes

  • Basic understanding of key pharmaceutical Marketing (ex. Market Research, Business Intelligence, Market Access) and Medical Affairs (ex. Global Scientific Communications) functions
